Our team
Judy
Founder
Judy Clark, mother of two young men with autism, and founder of Autism Support and Programs, knows firsthand the joys and hardships of raising children who have autism. Both of Judy’s boys are severely affected and she quickly realized the critical need for early intervention and consistency for those on the autism spectrum.
Our History
In 1994 she set out on a mission that would progress from providing summer school programs for students in Southeastern North Carolina to the development of comprehensive services for individuals with autism. Judy’s drive comes from a love of people with developmental disabilities and the desire to help them meet their maximum potential. To date ASAP operates 2 group homes and a day program on a 15 acre tract of land in Pender County. The ASAP team looks forward to opportunities of future growth and continuing to advocate for individuals and families in need of support.

Employee Of The Month
“We, the ones who are challenged, need to be heard. To be seen not as a disability, but as a person who has, and will continue to bloom. To be seen not only as a handicap, but as a well intact human being."
